Home / Hood & Exhaust Cleaning
Grease-free hoods, ducts and fans from the filters to the rooftop — cleaned to NFPA 96 standard, scheduled around your service hours, and documented for your inspector and insurer.
Our process
The work happens above the ceiling where you can't watch it — so here's exactly what we do on every visit.
We document the system before we start — so you can see exactly what we found.
Cook line, equipment, and floors are covered and protected before any work begins.
Filters are removed and cleaned — or swapped, if you’re on our exchange route.
The plenum and canopy are scraped and hot-pressure-washed to bare metal.
Vertical and horizontal ducts are cleaned to bare metal — the part low-bidders skip.
Blades, housing and base cleaned; belt and hinge checked and reported.
Grease cups and rooftop containment cleaned so grease never reaches your roof membrane.
We polish, reassemble, photo-document, sticker the hood, and deliver your compliance report.
Not all "hood cleaning" is equal
| Vista Fire Solutions | Typical low-bid cleaner | |
|---|---|---|
| Whole system — hood, ducts & fan | Included, to bare metal | Visible hood only |
| Before/after photo report | Every visit | No proof |
| Certificate + NFPA sticker | With areas-not-cleaned disclosure | Sticker only, if that |
| Fan belt & access-panel check | Included & reported | Not inspected |
| Pricing | Flat, quoted up front | Hourly surprises |
Proof of work
Drag to compare. This is the standard on every hood we touch.
Representative imagery — your report includes real photos of your own kitchen.
If your exhaust system isn't cleaned to bare metal, we come back and finish the job — free. That's the standard on every hood we touch, from the filters to the fan.
While we're up there
We drop off clean baffle filters and take the greasy ones on a weekly or biweekly route. Clean filters trap most of the grease before it ever reaches your duct — the cheapest fire prevention you can buy.
Belt replacement, fan hinge kits, and duct access-panel installation — an NFPA 96 requirement many kitchens are missing. We check these on every cleaning and quote fixes on the spot.
Grease cups and containment units installed and serviced on the same visit. Grease on your roof membrane can void your roof warranty — containment is cheaper than a re-roof.
Free on-site quote. Flat pricing. Scheduled around your service hours — nights and early mornings, so you never lose a cover.
